공장(gongjang)은 

군더더기 없는 최소한의 디자인을 추구하고, 
제품생산의 전과정(디자인,재료선택,가공,사용,폐기 등)에서 환경을 먼저 생각합니다.
또한 우리의 디자인영역 안에서 사회적 역할과 책임을 다하고자 노력합니다.

공장의 제품은 자연을 닮은 질감과 색감, 동양적인 감성을 담아 
편안함과 따뜻함을 전하고자 합니다. 

*공장(GONGJANG)은 
공방에서 쓸모 있는 물건을 만드는 사람(工匠)이라는 의미와 
물건을 만드는 장소(工場,factory)라는 의미를 함께 지니고 있습니다.

gongjang seeks for the minimum design with no unnecessities.
gongjang is also an environmental brand name that considers environment across
all progress in making a product.

We love to deliver comfort and warmth of the nature
with oriental touch and nature-like textures.

gongjang has two meanings, 
one of which is 'gongjang(工匠)-a craftsman, who makes things skillfully' 
and the other is 'gongjang(工場)-a factory, where goods are made'

 

공장의 에코리스트는 제품의 환경성을 자체 진단하는 평가리스트입니다.

제품에 따라 각 카테고리 항목의 환경성을 단계별로 점수를 주고
총 합계점수에 따라 1~3단계로 나누어 그린라벨을 부여합니다.
에코리스트진단은 좀 더 환경에 가까운 제품을 디자인하자는 저희의 다짐과 의지입니다.


gongjang's eco list is an evaluation sheet which helps us
self-diagnose how friendly our products are to the environment.

We evaluate each product by catagory of the list,
and from the sum we classify it among 3 different levels.
ECO LIST & GREEN LABEL is our promise and volition

to make products good to earth.
